Is BMI of 30 obese for athletes?

Not necessarily. Athletes with high muscle mass can be healthy at BMI 30+ if body fat is low. Check body fat % and FFMI together.

Is FFMI above 25 impossible naturally?

FFMI 25 is known as the approximate natural limit. A few with genetic advantages may exceed it, but most above 25 suggests drug use.

How do I measure body fat percentage?

Options include bioelectric impedance (InBody), skinfold calipers, hydrostatic weighing, and DEXA scans. Use a consistent method for regular tracking.

⚠️ Extreme low body fat (below 5% for men, 12% for women) is harmful. Contest conditioning should be short-term under professional guidance.
